Humanitarian Projects

RBR is spearheading a Mother-Child Outreach Project to help local mothers care for
their families.

While many Mechapans make a good living selling lobster and fish to the cities, there are many families who are not as fortunate due to circumstances beyond their control.  Our very good friend, Reina, has six children under the age of 16, who she cares for herself because her husband moved to Honduras to find work.
Her youngest son is frequently ill and requires frequent medical care.

Each Care Package will be distributed intact to a Mechapan Family. Your attention is dearly needed, as most mothers have several young children to care for and do not have the means to go the 90 km to Chinandega to purchase these necessary items.  In addition, we are interested in organizing Family Care Seminars, which we would like to hold every three months.
Please contact us for more information or offer assistance in development.
